Chi Psi hosts two recruitment cycles per year for students interested in joining our brotherhood. We are always looking for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who would be great fits for our brotherhood. Spring 2023 recruitment is taking place from January 19 - 28, 2023. All interested parties should attend rush events once they begin and start getting to know the brothers - no signup process is needed. When can I recruit to Chi Psi Cornell? v
There are two recruitment cycles for Chi Psi Cornell. There is one in the fall, within the first few weeks of the semester. This cycle is only dedicated to sophomores and sophomore transfers. The second cycle begins in the first week of the spring semester, which is open to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. All recruits must be in good academic standing with the university and the Interfraternity Council (IFC).

At the begining of rush week, there will be a few open houses where potential new members can meet and hang out with the brothers. Over the following days, there will be invite only events, which may include going to dinner with brothers or particpating in fun activities with brothers.
What is the timeline for the Spring 2023 recruitment week? >

Recruitment week begins on January 19th. Our open houses are on January 19th, 20th, and 21st, from 2pm - 8pm. After that, there will be invite only events occurring throughout the next week. The invitations will be sent out via Campus Director. On January 28th, recruits will receive their bids.

Chi Psi is a non-hazing, non-pledging fraternity at Cornell. During the short period of time of new member education, potential new members will learn the history and values that are essential to becoming a brother. For example, you will learn the story of why all Chi Psi houses around the country are known as "The Lodge".
